“All eyes are on the upper-Midwest this year to watch the giant pumpkin scales tip north of 1500lbs.  Favorable growing conditions coupled with an expanding list of top-notch gardeners in the greater metro area have created a situation where records could be broken, if not smashed completely. Reports of record-setting fruit abound and with only a couple weeks to go until weigh-off time, excitement within the giant pumpkin community is reaching fever pitch. The action culminates at the October 10th Stillwater Harvest Fest and Giant Pumpkin Weigh-off in Lowell Park, where growers from all around the Midwest will showcase their giant pumpkins and compete for the $1200 top prize."

We will also have three mystery prizes! The pumpkins closet to 400lbs, 600lbs and 800lbs will each win an additional $75 . The  Howard Dill award for prettiest pumpkin will receive $75. All people who enter a pumpkin will have their name entered into a drawing for a 5 gallon pail of Neptune's Harvest Fertilizer.
